High School Career:
Pop Isaacs began his high school basketball journey at Coronado High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. He later transferred to Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah, for his sophomore and junior years before returning to Coronado for his senior season. As a senior, Isaacs averaged 23 points and 5 rebounds per game, earning Southern Nevada Offensive Player of the Year honors and selections to the Tarkanian Classic First Team and Torrey Pines First Team. He was rated as a four-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports. โ
College Career:
Isaacs committed to Texas Tech University, where he played from 2022 to 2024. In his freshman season (2022โ2023), he averaged 11.5 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.0 rebounds per game, earning Big 12 All-Freshman Team honors. His sophomore season (2023โ2024) saw him lead the Red Raiders with 15.8 points per game, earning All-Big 12 Third Team honors. In April 2024, Isaacs transferred to Creighton University, where he began his junior season. He averaged 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game before undergoing hip surgery in December 2024, which sidelined him for the remainder of the season. โ

As of March 2025, Pop Isaacs is a junior at Creighton University and has not yet embarked on a professional basketball career.โ
Personal Background:
Born in Los Angeles, California, Pop Isaacs moved to Las Vegas around sixth grade. He is the son of Jennifer Kelly and Rick Isaacs and has three brothersโTremaine Tatum, Jermaine Tatum, and Deric Isaacsโand one sister, Phoenix Perry. His father, Rick, coached the Los Angeles-based club program "H Squad," influencing Pop's early basketball development. He is majoring in Sports Management.
