Creighton Bluejays’ Playmaking Sharpshooter Pop Isaacs 2024 Highlights

Guard Pop Isaacs underwent hip surgery and will miss the rest of the season, according to Coach Greg McDermott. The 6-foot-2 Las Vegas native had an impressive start to the 2024-2025 season with the Creighton Bluejays, averaging 31.8 minutes per game. Isaacs demonstrated his scoring ability with a field goal percentage of 41.0% and an impressive three-point shooting percentage of 38.3%. His accuracy at the free-throw line stood out at 86.2%. Additionally, he contributed across the board, averaging 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 0.1 blocks, and 0.5 steals per game. Despite some turnovers, Isaacs managed to average 16.3 points per game, making him a key player for the Bluejays. He transferred to Creighton last spring after spending two seasons at Texas Tech, where he earned All-Big 12 honors and led the Red Raiders to the NCAA tournament in March.
